what is your soft spot?
Everyone has a soft spot for something. If you don’t I don’t trust you. It could be a dusty ray of sunshine peeking through tree branches. The sounds and sensations of cracking open a canned beverage. A shirt that wears and feels like an extension of yourself. These are all soft spots of mine, but my biggest by far is the feeling I get when I make tattoos. Whether it’s intricate florals, strange shapes, or goofy animals I love getting to be a part of decorating others with care, collaboration and creativity.
Soft Spot Tattoos is a private tattoo studio located within a multi-creative complex on the northwest side of Portland, Oregon/Kalapuya land. The studio is an ever-growing collection of items & memories from friends, family and personal interests. I appreciate the curiosity that led you here. Thank you for reading and hope to have you in sometime!

Oh.
you’re still here.
hello
you!
well then,
i am jon.
Have we met before? If we have, am I still the same? I feel like a new person every year/month/week/day. I keep changing and time keeps moving faster. It’s exciting and terrifying. Inspiring and intimidating. As a fellow human reading this, I’m sure you’ve felt this at some point as well. At least I hope you have. So far as I know I am a nonbinary, neurodivergent, second-generation immigrant artist. I am particularly grateful to be a licensed tattoo artist and outside of that field enjoy sketching, painting, dancing, video-editing, smoothies, fashion, karaoke, being left-handed and probably other stuff. Just ask me whenever we meet again.
